for everyone
Was watching the does this morning and they had visitors. These ravens were not afraid of the goats at all. They just wanted some hay to start their spring nests with. We're calling them Heckle and Jeckle. They've been nesting in our woods for a few years and come for nesting materials every pre-spring.

Sooooooooo, this is a sign of Spring for y'all? Things are beginning to green up here now. Although we are supposed to get snow on Tues. I hope that is it until next year.

My brother is antsy to tap maple trees, wanted one more week to get ready but this weekend was a good one, he decided to wait til next weekend. Afraid of the rain forecast for the rest of this coming week. We'll tap next weekend, unless he does it alone during the week (Visteon closed so he is a free man!) Bad thing is Adam's track season has started and will conflict with the 15th (Also Morgan's birthday party!) AND Eric has plans to go to a church youth group thing the same weekend..........rats............Maybe we will give her our gift the weekend of the 8th........

Glad to see that we are not the only ones who name not only our pets, but the wildlife too! We have a pair of vultures who nest on our property every year, we named them Gomez and Morticia. Pretty pictures, but it makes me cold just looking at them.
